An ‘Express’ Service by Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) connecting Ooty the mountain town and popularly know as the ‘Queen of Hills’ with Trichy the third largest city in Tamil Nadu .

Ooty – Trichy (via Coonoor, Mettupalayam, Tiruppur, Kangayam, Karur) Express service operated by Ooty Region’s Coonoor bus depot.

TN 38 N 1987 is replaced by new  bus TN 33 N 3144
*Now TN 38 N 1987 runs on weekends as special
