Geddai Dam is located in Kundah taluk of Nilgiris district near Manjoor on Karamadai – Manjoor Ghat Road which is one among three roads connecting Nilgiri Mountains with the plains of Tamil Nadu. Geddai Dam offers scenic views of rolling valleys and forests. There is a viewpoint near to the dam which offers an awesome scenery. The Dam is located about 50 km from Ooty. It was built around 1960s by Canadian aid and stands as a symbol of India Canada friendship and co-operation.
